  • Integrate an efficient CO₂ removal system to maintain proper air composition during long-term storage

Solution

Following the recommendations of Agrovent’s engineering specialists, one of the storage sections was equipped with a high-capacity mechanical refrigeration system specifically designed for carrot storage in warm and variable climates.

Key elements of the solution:

  • Central refrigeration station built on two high-efficiency compressors

  • Air coolers selected and positioned to ensure uniform airflow and stable temperature across all container rows

  • Microclimate configuration optimized to reduce dehydration risks even without the use of active humidification

This system ensures reliable long-term carrot preservation for regions such as India, Africa, KSA, and the UAE, where outside temperatures and humidity levels can significantly affect storage quality.
