To offer a solution for the bulk storage of 8000 tons of potatoes in four sections.

Client

“SN-Agro” LLC has been operating on the agricultural market since 2010.

Objective

To create a microclimate system for the seasonal storage of potatoes.

Distinguishing features

  • To maximize useful storage space.
  • To automate the process of temperature and humidity control in different modes.
  • To account for the necessity of produce loading/unloading simplicity.

Solution

A potato-storage system based on perforated air-circuit technology.

The air-distribution system makes it possible to direct the entire airflow through a single pipe if produce begins to rot.

The “ORION” automatic-control system was designed specifically for vegetable-storage facilities. Remote monitoring and control is an option.

Distinguishing features

Operational stages:

  • Project development
  • Purchase of equipment and materials
  • Delivery
  • Installation
  • Start-up and adjustment operations
  • Project launch

Design engineers and the construction department were in charge of the project, which included the involvement of Agrovent specialists in the area of microclimate equipment.

Underfloor ducts were used to enlarge the space for storing vegetables - this helped to save facility space and create convenient conditions for the operation of warehousing equipment.

A number of other projects in Omsk Region were implemented on the basis of this solution.
