Development of a container-storage system for carrots with a capacity of 1000 tons.
Temperature maintenance in a carrot storage in winter with the help of cold air.
To chill carrots while putting them in storage (to +3 C) throughout the day.
100 tons/day of produce was chilled while being put into storage.
In order to create the storage microclimate, we used Dragon technology (a passive-ventilation system) with a built-in air cooler. This made it possible to use storage space more efficiently and save time on installation work.
Operational stages:
Design engineers and the construction department were in charge of the project, which included the involvement of Agrovent specialists in the area of microclimate equipment.
