Ventilation equipment for a potato storage (intended for 3600 tons 2)

The development of a potato storage in a typically-Soviet semi-underground vegetable-storage facility with a capacity of 3600 tons.

Client

TNV MIR is a farm producer of table and seed potatoes.

Objective

In designing the microclimate system, specialists tried to make the most out of the banked building.

The air inflow and exhaust were implemented using just the roof.

To design an insulation system to protect intake and exhaust valves from precipitation.

Solution

We used a perforated air-circuit system.
