“Prodimex” Group is a Russian food producer and the country’s largest manufacturer of white sugar.
Objective
To develop a ventilation system so as to increase beet storage life by two months.
To cover the cost of the project within a year through savings on the ventilation system.
As the beets are stored in the open field, the technical equipment must function efficiently in all weather conditions.
Solution
The technical equipment was specially designed and fabricated to be used in field conditions.
Storage conditions are automatically maintained, with the option of remote system operation.
The prime cost of the system was reduced through the impressive energy efficiencies achieved under further operation.
