Design and construction of apple storage for 1,200 tons.

Creating a turn-key fruit storage facility for apples. Creation of a microclimate system for long-term storage of apples using CA technology. Customer: LLC "Vladimirovsky Sad". The object has been delivered: 2019. Region: Belgorod region.

Solution

Apples stored in an environment with a certain concentration of oxygen and carbon dioxide (CO2) by ULO and DCA (Initial Low Oxygen Stress, Dynamic Controlled Atmosphere) technology by Fruit Control company.

The apple stored in plastic containers in 6 chambers of 14x7.5 size. In each chamber there are 6 sets of CO2 removal system.

As part of work on the project specialists Agrovet company has performed a number of tasks:

• Thermal insulation circuit of PIR sandwich panels was installed.
• Specialized hermetic doors installed 
• Cooling system and humidification system installed 
• The interior lighting of the cameras, corridor, attic and engine rooms and the engine room has been installed. 
• Delivery, installation and service of fruit storage equipment using ULO and DCA technology.

A single cooling station on several piston compressors is provided for all storage rooms. The use of the refrigeration station based on Bitzer compressors (Germany) is provided. It is controlled by Danfoss controller, in which a number of specialized parameters for apple storage were programmed.
