In dry and hot weather conditions (with a maximum air humidity of 50%), achieving a high cooling effect is possible by installing fans with nozzles which, in addition to air circulation, will cool the cows with fine water mist. The cooling effect will be enhanced by the evaporation of water. Special rings with nozzles are installed on the fan and work in conjunction with it under certain conditions. The nozzles allow for the creation of spray or aerosol and come in two types: low and high-pressure water. The main components of the misting system are the filtering unit, pump assembly, spray lines with nozzles, and control unit or central computer.

Normal well-being of animals
-
Doubling of conception rate during the summer
-
Cooling of cows through water misting and enhanced ventilation - the cheapest and most effective method of cooling cows in any climate in the housing and waiting areas
-
Disadvantages
-
Demanding water quality requirements for the misting system
-
Necessity of proper selection and installation of equipment
