Ventilation and refrigeration equipment for a potato storage (intended for 3 200 tons)

Creation of a microclimate system for storing potatoes in containers of 3,200 tons. The object is handed over: 2019.
Client: Aurora PLC - agro-industrial association is one of the largest representatives of the Russian agricultural market. The main activity of the company is crop and livestock breeding.

Objective

Production, delivery, supervision of a set of refrigeration equipment for storage of potatoes, delivery and installation of pressure and dispersal fans, including a set of flaps and wind protection, aspiration mats for two sections of container storage of seed potatoes in a chamber 20x32.

Solution

The camera uses Aspiretion System technology for potato storage. The technology is based on the proper selection of equipment and its arrangement in a storage. Depending on the duration of crop storage, a ventilation and/or refrigeration system is used. The ventilation system is fundamental and is used for drying, curing, decreasing and maintaining the temperature of produce. A refrigeration system is used in cases of storage at high temperatures (in May, June) or when the produce temperature needs to be sharply decreased in a short period of time.

Refrigeration unit based on Bitzer compressor, humidification system - stationary mobile humidifier ST-A-BEV are used in the chambers.
